Jazz classes at DSD.

Our Jazz and Musical Theatre program at Dance School of Distinction is designed to inspire confidence, performance quality, and strong technical foundations in dancers from junior through to senior levels.

Jazz classes focus on developing strength, flexibility, musicality, and dynamic movement, while Musical Theatre classes bring together dance, performance, and storytelling. Students learn to project character, emotion, and stage presence, preparing them for performance opportunities.

Jazz classes are directed by Principal Jess Brayshaw alongside Mahlee Yuanjit. Together, they bring extensive experience and a passion for developing confident, well-rounded performers in a positive and supportive environment. Students are encouraged to build strong technique, musicality, and performance skills as they progress from junior through to senior levels.
