At Dance School of Distinction we pride ourselves on having the highest level of classical ballet training. Classical ballet is the basis of all dance techniques, and learning the correct posture, movement and line is essential to all dance styles. We use positive, fun and engaging teaching strategies to provide excellent technical training, whilst nurturing the student in a kind and safe environment. Not only can a high quality ballet training program give children a life long skill, it also creates body awareness, helps with injury prevention, strength, flexibility and good posture. Children develop a love of dance and learn to express themselves through the art form as well as creating life long friendships.

At DSD classical ballet students get the opportunity to perform on stage multiple times a year in highly professional and impressive recitals and showcases.

All students come to DSD with different goals and aspirations for dance, and we ensure we meet and provide opportunities within the industry to help achieve their ambitions.

DSD study the British Ballet Organisation syllabus as well as open class with teachers who have trained in the Vaganova, RAD and Cecchetti styles of ballet.

We provide ballet lessons for boys and girls starting from age 3. Group, and private classes available.
